Advanced Dewatering, LLC receives Mayor's Environmental Quality Control Award

CANTON, Ohio — 

The City of Canton Water Reclamation Facility announced today the recipient of the annual Mayor’s Environmental Quality Control Award will be Advanced Dewatering, LLC of Canton, Ohio. The company will be recognized in a presentation during a site visit with Mayor Thomas M. Bernabei on Wednesday, March 17, 2016.

The Environmental Quality Control Award is given to an area business whose waste removal practices go above and beyond the call for responsible environmental stewardship.

“Advanced Dewatering treats and manages waste products for a number of sites in our area,” said Tracy Mills. “We are proud of our industry partners, especially Advanced Dewatering, for their efforts in protecting the environment.”

Mayor Bernabei will tour the facility and present the award plaque to Advanced Dewatering CEO Thomas Abraham on Wednesday. “I am happy to present the Environmental Quality Control Award to Advanced Dewatering this year. They are a well-run facility committed responsible environmental stewardship in the waste management sector and quite deserving of this distinction.”

Past award recipients include area companies such as: Frito-Lay, Gregory Industries, Paxos Plating, RTI Alloys-TPD & Lustrous Metal Coatings.
